Antique French Silk Brocade Red And Cream

Stunning!  Antique French 19th C red and off white silk upholstery material This lovely French striped silk brocade is stunning in person. The color is much better than the photos show. The red is a rich true vivid hue, not orange at all contrary to the color in some of the photos. This antique French silk brocade is a very nice upholstery weight or drape weight with a very silky, soft hand with a beautiful drape. There are two pieces in this lot: The larger piece measures 21" wide x 24" long approx. (that's not including that small right bottom corner area ~ I only measured the main piece/section) The smaller remnant measures 16" x 21"~ 22" approx. Condition: The larger panel has a few water mark areas and a small dark spot within the water mark. You can clearly see this area better from the photos showing the back of the textile. There is a light bleed (red) within the watermark ~ see photos. The smaller remnant shows fold lines , two pink prick sew lines, a tiny hole, a small mark and stain the corner and a few little thread pulls/flaws.
