Up for sale, a mens Shinola S01 chronograph watch in need of repair. This watch is in relatively good cosmetic condition though it does have little marks and scratches consistent with normal wear (see magnified pics). The bracelet and case have a heavy gold plating and look fairly good - I can see minor wear on the bracelet near the clasp in the magnified pictures, it is hard to see with the naked eye. The bracelet is a bit on the smaller size, the circumference is approx. 6 3/4 inches. The problem here is that the upper chronograph pusher and small trim piece that sits below it are both missing. You can see the threaded shaft which remains (see pic). Using a pencil eraser you can operate the chronograph start/stop and the reset buttons - they operate normally (and the watch seems to run normally in all other regards). To my eyes, the center second hand sits just a hair off of the exact 12 o'clock stop position once re-set but this is a minor complaint. I would have concerns that the watch is NOT water resistant with the upper chronograph button missing. I think it would need repair prior to wearing the watch. This seems like it would be a fairly straight forward repair but I am not a watchmaker and I have no idea how hard it would be to source the parts. Might be worth a phone call to the folks at the Shinola company if you have been hunting for this model. Case size is 40mm. This watch appears to be a fairly uncommon and early model, the only other identical watch I am seeing for sale (or as a completed sale) is asking $875 for the watch. Sorry, no box or papers. NEEDS REPAIR AS STATED ABOVE & SOLD STRICTLY AS-IS. US bidders/buyers only please. This will ship tracked and insured.
